Fiori d' Arancio

In Spring and Summer it's usual to organize weddings!
This year I received invitations for 3 ceremonies.
Last Sunday I participated at the 1st one!
The location was in a village of Abruzzo called Aielli. The right place to relax and escape from the incredible hot weather that we're having in Rome!
The bride was stunning in a cream dress and the groom was really excited!
After the ceremony we went to "Il Casale"Restaurant, where we had a fantastic aperitif in the garden before the reception.
As a starter we had the traditional products of the village:
ham, mozzarella di bufala, aubergines and artichokes.

Then a really tasty "timballo" of artichokes,
spaghetti alla chitarra, roasted lamb with potatoes, barbecued lamb with salad.
Colourful fruit and the nuptial cake.
After the dinner we had a dancing night.
Congratulations to the married couple!

Buona Giornata,
S.
